Did you know you could send mass iMessages to email addresses, without needing phone numbers in your list at all?

We all know that emails are much easier to come by in your customer or leads lists than phone numbers, so this is a game changer!

Here’s how to utilize this powerful StraightText feature (that most other platforms don’t have) to its fullest potential.

1. Prepare a CSV file which includes a column with the header named “email” or “email address” (capitalization doesn’t matter) containing the email addresses of your recipients.

  • This can be used together with phone numbers. If a row has both a phone number and email the phone number will be used.

2. Now when you create a broadcast using the CSV and send it, email addresses which are on iMessage will get an iMessage sent to their email address, and those who aren’t on iMessage will show a “Not on iMessage” status.

Note: This feature is only available on the Mac version of StraightText.

That’s it, it’s as simple as that!
